Description and Requirements

We are looking for the person who challenges the ordinary and seeks to bring to life gaming and education partnerships and solutions for a richer customer experience. The program and partnerships manager for the Gaming and Education Segments will be a key member of the eCommerce B2C team, and will be responsible for owning programs and partnerships that are managed end to end for launch at scale. He/she/they will be a key contributor to building internal and external partnerships, UX requirements, community priorities, and the portfolio of products and services.  

This role is critical to defining how we evolve the Lenovo gaming and education value propositions.  Specific responsibilities include: Work closely with Director and segment leads to enable partnerships, solutions and WW and geo priorities. Identify where our target audience engage and build partnerships, based on positive business models that capture attention where they are Proactively identify and mitigate issues and potential obstacles in meeting business objectives and priorities Track actions and manage follow up from partnership and extended team discussions, including decks and documents for presentations Contribute to the overall strategy and vision to grow membership in Lenovo’s Gaming and Education communities Collaborate effectively with the LenovoEDU Community Team and all internal stakeholders, bringing priorities to market Manage all Education and Gaming community monetization activities and report monthly to WW and regional leaders  

 Skills include: 
  • An action-oriented professional with strong business acumen who can pivot, learn fast, collaborate across teams to dig into general business-related issues and provide an intelligent recommendation or path forward Go- getter who is comfortable with general business activities such as partnerships, measurement, marketing programs for b2c, program and project management
  • Preferred experience in B2C and eCommerce.
  •  Strong marketing background in order to recognize the drivers of consumer wants/needs/propensities to consider and convert 
  • Understanding of ROI-based activity Detail oriented, evidence of strong follow through Ability to handle the complexity of a fast moving, matrixed organization and ability to see around corners and eager to find creative solutions along the way 
  • Ability to organize self and others to keep projects on track
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • BA/BS with 5+ years combined experience working in or connected to the B2C and/or education MBA while not mandatory is highly preferred. 
  • Ideal candidate will have sold products, solutions, or services to the B2C customer base
  • Understanding of business and marketing strategy, and can use competitive data to identify differentiators and establish value propositions that resonate with the target audience. 
  • Experience with the sales process and conversion goals.
  •  Superb conceptual thinking and problem-solving at all levels, ability to formulate a strategic, scalable plan with high attention to detail and desire to drive that plan with supporting functions through to completion and across geographic regions.
  •  Experience with business modeling, measurement and research-driven approach. 
  • An optimist, comfortable with ambiguity, passionate about helping shape the future for the best through constant improvement.
  •  Flexibility to go above and beyond in a fast-paced/global organization and comfort with finding creative approaches to secure investments for high value activities.
