Description and Requirements

As a part of Lenovo SSG (Services Solution Group), the Services Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of assigned customer-facing Managed Services projects. This position requires the individual to work efficiently and effectively with Presales, Sales, Operations, and Fulfillment team members and Partners to deliver leadership offerings on time and in scope.

This role requires a thought leader who demonstrates strong business acumen and maturity and is comfortable and effective with driving business objectives and ensuring P&L targets are met while acting as a trusted advisor.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a combination of IT Technology, Services, and Project Management. This candidate should have strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with stakeholders at all levels.


The Services Project Manager will be expected to: 

Analyze and manage project detail while simultaneously aligning the "big picture" project priorities with the priorities of the company and customer.

Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects of varying duration and shifting priorities.

Identify project problems (and/or risks) in advance and document mitigation and corrective action plans.

Maintains schedules/achieves milestones, ensuring accuracy and quality of business analysis, driving on-time completion, within budget, and according to planned objectives by overseeing activities of various work streams.

Drive continuous process improvement.

Apply negotiation skills in addition to strong problem-solving in order to resolve medium to complex issues.

Qualifications: 

Basic: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in project management 
  • Able to travel up to 20% 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications 


Preferred: 

  • Strong analytical skillset, strong communication, and presentation skills
  • Collaborative approach & ability to influence across the organization
  • 5+ years working with IT technology, and customer-facing experience
  • Service delivery experience a plus
  • Executive-level communication & presentation skills
  • PMP certification is strongly preferred – Agile certification is a plus

The base salary range for this position in Colorado, New York City, Nevada, and Washington, is $95,000 - 130,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
