Description and Requirements

Lenovo is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to be the main liaison for our key partnership with Gartner.  Gartner is a leading technology and research consulting firm whose expert guidance and tools enable faster, smarter decisions and stronger performance on an organization’s mission-critical priorities

The goal of this role will be to create and execute Lenovo's strategy for our relationship with Gartner and to not only maintain but enhance our Gartner Top 25 Ranking. This is a unique role where this person will be the key focal and primary interface with Gartner and be responsible for driving all research, inquiries, webinars, and relationships with special interest groups.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the high tech analyst community and high tech peers receive the Lenovo story messaging and highlight the brand (Marketing)
  • Focus on innovative, creative and competitive change management contributions
  • Assist the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Lenovo business stakeholders with recognizing areas for process and efficiency improvements to improve our relationship with Gartner and our Peer Connections
  • Provide project leadership to complete several strategic initiatives for those projects which generate new revenue opportunities and enhance our rankings amongst Gartner's top Supply Chain Companies
  • Measure and track Lenovo’s Year on Year Ranking Performance via deep dive of the individual and composite results.
  • Develop, secure and manage resources for multidisciplinary and cross-functional projects with the objective of effectively managing the change process by ensuring the achievement of projects to time, cost, and stakeholder specifications.
  • Enhance and contribute to the Lenovo & ISG Project Management culture and profession

Candidates may be based anywhere in US with preference given to Morrisville, NC.

Basic Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or other related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of project management experience managing large, innovative, and complex projects

Preferred Requirements:

  • PMP Certification
  • Experience working with research organizations
  • Experience measuring and tracking returns on investment and/or value realization of projects/solutions
  • Ability to identify risks associated with the changes and develop a strategy and/or change management process to overcome or address the risks.
  • Experience with various social media outlets and writing articles and updates on Twitter, LinkedIn and other outlets
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

The base salary range for this position in Colorado, New York City, Nevada and Washington, is $100,000 - $135,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on
