Description and Requirements

  • L2 level administrative and implementation support on (Oracle 10G, 11G, 12 C, 16C, 18C) / MS SQL / My SQL / DB2 / Mongo DB / SAP Hana etc.
  • Backups and restorations using RMAN, and via GUI through Commvault.
  • Database software installation to development, test and production servers.
  • Responsible for refreshing and cloning of databases per customer requirements.
  • Responsible for upgrade and migration of databases.
  • Participate in technical transition of database technologies for new FMS customers.
  • Performing Logical backup and recovering specific object or schema as per requirement.
  • Managing table spaces, data files, redo logs, tables and its segments.
  • Oracle Data guard (Standby) Configuration and Administration.
  • Reviewing Reports from Monitoring and management tools on daily basis.
  • Creating DBs through understanding of Database architecture and Instance, logical and physical structure.
  • User/schema management and space management.
  • Managing physical storage structure --Data files, control files, Redo logs and archive logs etc.
  • Escalation to next level for support on issues related to all environments (Production, Test and Development).
  • Monitoring Golden gate services.
  • Working with the Ticket Management tool to manage tickets. Handle Change Management process and Incident Management tickets for all the production, development, and testing database changes.
  • Prepare the technical SOPs for data base domain for managed services and implementation services.
  • Administration and troubleshooting of HA DB environment (RAC / Clustering / Replication).
  • Database migration - (Platform Migration / DB to DB Migration).
  • Database upgrade & patching
  • Plan and lead activities from pre to post. Create POA with all required details.
  • Administration & Troubleshooting of Database Backup and restore - (Using native tools & Backup solutions)
  • Administration & Troubleshooting Oracle Enterprise Manager or equivalent tools for database monitoring and management
  • Keeping up to date with technology trends and developments.
  • Work closely with service delivery team and ensure the agreed KPIs with customers are met.
  • Always ensure customer satisfaction
