Description and Requirements


Over the past decade, Lenovo has effectively implemented a strong ESG (environmental, social governance) framework and robust sustainability programs. Lenovo’s ESG efforts are focused on circular economy, resilience and helping to solve humanity’s greatest challenges with smarter services and technology. This determination has lead us to implementing Science Based Targets, meaningful steps around energy management and sustainable design that can be seen in our processes and products.  We strives to do things differently with the goal of a Smarter Future in mind for our customers, our employees, our communities and the environment.

It is through Lenovo’s Global Sustainability Services, that we aim to be that partner to help our customers meet their own ESG goals as well.

Important part of sustainability efforts is product circular economy. If we as a society continue using our resources in the same make-use-dispose linear way, we are going to need more than 2 and half planet earth resources to sustain this consumption growth. This is why it is important to move from linear to circular economy where we enable means to extend product lifecycle. Refurbishment is a good example of giving products second life and mitigating environmental impacts related to productions and consumption.

Our Global Sustainability Services Team is looking for a passionate member for newly created role of Refurbishment Brand Operations Specialist, to supervise core activities around refurbishment brand management globally.   

 Your responsibilities:

  • Vendor onboarding support and roadmap management – support refurbishment vendors onboarding by navigating them through the onboarding checklist/process, requesting system access for vendors, maintaining and reporting on vendor enablement roadmap and other activities related to vendor onboarding.
  • Program status tracking and reporting – collect inputs from key projects and calls and maintain records. Consolidate records and create a general status summary. Report general status to key stakeholders.
  • Brand documentation maintenance – being document keeper of core documents such as marketing materials, project status documents etc..
  • Support coordination of other core activities related to refurbishment business such CX program
  • Support with other general activities required to drive development and execution of WW refurbishment capabilities and business

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience in similar role such as product, service or supply chain operations, business administration or similar area
  • Excellent admin skills such as reliability, punctuality, information capturing, sharing and documentation storage management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with external vendor administration is advantage but not must
  • Strong MS office (Word , PowerPoint, Excel) skills
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within internal and external teams
  • Interest in sustainability and circular economy will help to fuel the passion for the role
  • Language: English B2 Upper intermediate

Base gross monthly salary starts from 1800 EUR. The final offer could be, of course, negotiated higher than the advertised minimum - it all depends on your experience! In addition, there is also variable part (a bonus) in value of 12% of your annual earnings.

You will report to SSG (Solutions & Services Group) organization structure.

SSG has been focusing on the expanding IT service market, especially the digital workplace services opportunity, the growing demand for aaS (as a Service) model, and customers’ stronger preference for sustainability services. Meanwhile, SSG has continued to invest in software tools, platforms, and repeatable vertical solutions with our own IP, and focus on vertical solutions in manufacturing, retail, healthcare, education, and Smart City.  We are expanding TruScale as a Service to include Digital Workplace Solutions, developing our Hybrid Cloud solutions, and exploring Metaverse solutions.
