Description and Requirements

Position Description:


The Regional Project Manager works closely with the Global Project Management and sales teams to support our global customers. This person acts as a subject matter expert within the region, and is responsible for driving operational execution for the global segment.

The RPM is responsible for tracking all regional issues to closure, working with their geo matrix for appropriate coverage and support for the global segment, and working closely with the Global Project manager and local sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction. The RPM will also act as an escalation point to help resolve critical global account issues within the region.

This person will also lead the regional team that provides back end execution support for the global segment. The RPM will identify pervasive region issues, and work on special projects as needed to drive operational efficiency within the region.

Position Requirements:

The candidate needs the following skills:
- Leadership skills
- Ability to lead a matrix team across the region
- Accustomed to working with different regions to solve problems today
- Global experience
- Strong sense of urgency to meet critical Customer deadlines
- Experience talking to Customers on a regular basis
- Complex project management experience
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills
- Excellent excel, ppt skills + analytical skills
- Excellent organization skills - documentation
- LSS training
- Can work whatever time of day required to manage time zone challenges of leading global teams.
- Flexibility

Additional, nice to have experience:
- Some knowledge of the global process, experience in one global account function
- Certification in project management (PMI)
- Certification in LSS
