Description and Requirements
Responsibilities:
1. Resource Management Optimization:
- Actively monitor resource utilization and forecast future resource requirements based on
project pipelines and business objectives.
- Provide regular insights and updates to ODC management on resource analytics and
Recommendations for improved optimization.
- Planning, identifying and allocating of available resources to projects in accordance with the
skillsets, previous experience and availability.
- Develops and manages the tactical and strategic resource plan for an offering or service line.
- Assemble teams that are qualified to perform the work and financially align with project
budget and schedule plans.
- Support workforce planning and recruitment efforts to address resource shortages.
- Work with Project Managers and Team Leads to identify resource needs and address gaps.
- Collaborates with the delivery management team in the creation of a long-term workforce
strategy in alignment with business plan requirements.
2. Efficiency:
- Creation, Implementation and Training of standardized plans and ensure that ODC resources
have a strong awareness of operations standards, reducing communication and repetitive
creation costs.
- Enable the Delivery Teams to quickly start delivery based on the standard suite.
- Create and maintain clear resource plans and skill inventory for delivery and operations to
support the team leaders so they have a quick grasp of resource information, identify resource
and project risks, intervene early or promptly develop risk response plans.
- Timely updates of various management data to assist the ODC manager in developing strategic
directions, management optimization plans and cost-efficiency optimization plans.
- Monitor and ensure completeness of timesheet entries and submission.
- Coordinate plans for resource redeployment or retraining with L&D team and Human
Resources, as needed.
3. Transformational Projects:
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of resource skills, availability and assignment.
- Develop and implement policies and practices to effectively balance resource utilization
needs with planning targets, skills allocation, actual utilization and staffing levels.
- Organize and maintain ODC’s standard processes such as delivery templates, workflows,
general project delivery solutions, service offering materials and capability consolidation.
Qualifications:
- at least 6-8 8 years in IT industry and at least 2-3 years people management experience ,delivery operation and project management experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Strategic thinking
- Motivated and action-oriented individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- A detail-oriented mindset to maintain accurate resource records and documentation.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
