What You’ll Do:
At Lenovo, the Product Marketing Manager is responsible for leading our outbound product marketing activities. You’ll be responsible for presenting our products and solutions in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales. For this role, you will be a creative and quantitative thinker. Your goal will be to develop and implement the most clear and effective messages to position and promote our products. You'll also be focused on defining the market opportunity and sales revenue opportunity. You'll provide input to the offer construct as the roadmap develops and ensure the execution tracks for delivering are well defined with leaders accountable and responsible for each one. You will contribute to the design of Go-To-Market blueprints which will be in place for the different hyper-converged offerings and solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Focus on the Software Defined Infrastructure (SDI) HyperConverged Infrastructure (HCI) portfolio.
  • Define and develop appropriate content, collateral, and programs to grow awareness, educate the market and drive successful end-user engagements.
  • Develop positioning, content, and messaging that resonates with different customer personas and communicates the value of the DCI & Storage portfolio
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, Alliance, product management, sales, customer success, demand generation, alliances and channel partners to develop Go-to-Market strategies and deliver successful product launches.
  • Messaging and tools to successfully handle objections in the sales process
  • Collaborate with sales to understand the product and solutions sales cycle, motion and barriers to continuously improve and accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Develop and deliver sales enablement content and tools to field and partners
  • Deliver engaging customer interactions with case studies, interactive events, technical assets and references that drive awareness and help accelerate sales.
  • Support customer visits, industry and partner events.
  • Evangelize Lenovo Data Center Group.

Basic Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience in different aspects of Sales and/or Product Management from account management, partner sales creation to technical acumen and knowledge of datacenter solutions
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, datacenter, edge computing systems, Cloud, compute, storage, networking, and security
  • Proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, or similar role
  • Experience with Sales activities, with understanding of GTM motions
  • Experience in market analysis
  • Familiar with product marketing tactics and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools
  • BS in Marketing and/or Engineering or similar

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Understanding of data center hardware technologies and products
  • Creativity, excellent communication skills, and detail oriented
