Description and Requirements

This position's main attributions will be to:

  • Analyze and approve eligibility of stricto sensu or training R&D projects, indicating the criteria and degrees according to the methodology of analysis of the annual R&D report defined by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations - MCTI;
  • Analyze and approve eligibility of R&D expenditures in compliance with the IT Law;
  • Review and approve Work Plans for R&D projects in compliance with the IT Law;
  • Prepare legal documentation of R&D projects, in accordance with the IT Law, for review with Lenovo's procurement area, ensuring appropriate documentation for the process and ensuring Lenovo's compliance;
  • Request the responsible areas and organize the data required by the government in the drafting of the annual R&D report (gross sales, net invoicing, number of employees of the company, number of employees in R&D, total imports, total exports, etc.), in addition to reviewing the full report for timely delivery to MCTI;
  • Organize technical and financial documents to meet audit's requests, inspections and questioning of internal areas or independent companies;
  • Conduct periodic internal audits on the processes of compliance with the obligations of the IT Law;
  • Suggest and implement process improvements in R&D project management;
  • Maintain good relationship with internal team and institutions that are in partnership with Lenovo;
  • Participate in meetings of R&D groups to keep the company's areas informed about the obligations of the National IT Law and ZFM (Manaus Free Trade Zone);
  • Provide support to consolidate and organize technical and financial documents for the drafting of the report of “Lei do Bem”;
  • Providing information on the application of R&D resources to Lenovo's assumption agreements;
  • Provide up-to-date status to all company stakeholders through technical meetings and regular reports.
  • Graduation (engineering, administration, law)
  • Fluent English
  • 8+ years of experience and knowledge of the IT Law (Lei de Informática 8.248/91), in addition to having worked in the area of R&D in administrative /financial routines of projects (analysis of eligibility of R&D projects, analysis and review of work plans, analysis of eligibility of R&D expenditures, preparation of the annual R&D report, support and attendance to audits, in addition to preparation of technical defenses for disputes of R&D reports).
  • Experience in contract management
  • Dynamic, persuasive and communicative profile, with a sense of urgency, planning skills and commitment
  • Good interpersonal relationship and conflict management 
  • São Paulo or Indaiatuba
