Description and Requirements

The primary objective of the SSG IDG Channel Leader is to work directly with a team consist of Channel Services Specialists, SMB Services BDM and Consumer Services BDM to drive and support Services Sales in the UK&I.  You will be working closely with local Channel and SMB leader as well as Consumer leader for UKI.

As an expert of Lenovo’s Services & Solutions, you will be the generalist bandmaster to focus and drive the collaboration of all internal Lenovo’s Channel and Consumer stakeholders, as well as Business Partners stakeholders in the aim of increasing both the visibility and revenue of Lenovo Services & Solutions and add beneficial Value to the Business Partners.

You will be part of the market-focus Channel Services Sales Team and report to the UKI SSG IDG Leader.

On top of the full portfolio of Services and Solutions, the entrepreneurship and development of new services and solutions-driven areas (such as Software/Security and/or “as a Services” business) will be one of the key factors for the future innovative Lenovo Strategy and Business Success.

Your responsibilities will be to: 

  • Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets for Channel, SMB and Consumer Sales Specialist
  • Lead and motivate Team to achieve Sales targets and improve Services sales across channel and SMB/Consumer Segment in UK
  • Create and manage a business plan in collaboration with the Channel team to increase both visibility and revenue of the Lenovo Services sales.
  • Act as a single point of contact for the Sales/Channel community providing support to the Business Partner.
  • Key Interaction and collaboration with UK&I Platinum, MidMarket/Enterprise and Public Sector/Channel sales team, 4P, Consumer and marketing are essential for success.
  • Drive EMEA and WW Channel Services Strategy and Execute Services Sales plan across segments
  • participate in internal and external calls with both internal Channel Sales, 4P Managers, Consumer Leader and Business Partner’s sales to promote Lenovo Services Solutions and provide clear and accurate reports.
  • Create and build the self-confidence within the Channel Sales Team to see and understand Lenovo as a Solution Provider for our Channel Partners.
  • Create and manage a valid Forecast and keep track and measurement of the results.

  • Drive to increase Services Penetration rate in SMB and Consumer and overall Channel Route to Market.
  • Have full understanding Channel Route to Market as well as decent knowledge of SMB and Consumer segment.
  • 5 yrs + Experience of managing People
  • Proven ability to operate with a high level of professionalism, entrepreneurialism and agility
  • Demonstrated ability to work across all levels of the organization with a teaming attitude
  • 8+ years of senior services sales and people management experience
  • Strong background in services & solution sales with financial acumen and business management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent experience required
