Description and Requirements

Lenovo SSG Enterprise Professional Services (PS) team is looking for highly motivated individuals to be Solution architects focused on Services that will assist in Pre-Sales activity and drive growth in Latin America.  Candidates will be responsible for interacting with different sales areas helping design solutions according to the customer's requirements. The Principal Consultants role requires traveling up to 75% of the time it's needed. The ideal candidate should have experience in the services business and be able to resolve complex problems and build appealing solutions for Lenovo Customers.

Position Requirements:  Required:

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience

At least 3 years experience in IT operations, services or consulting

Advanced understanding of Lenovo's Portfolio of Products and solutions

Intermediate to advance knowledge of Public Cloud Services as well as costing models

Intermediate understanding of Data Center Operations as well as Co-Location Services

English: Fluent

Portuguese: Fluent

Spanish: Fluent


Master's Degree in an engineering discipline

At least 4 years of experience in IT operations, services or consulting

At least 4 years experience in Understanding of Services business model

Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%

Skills needed:

  • Knowledge in sales
  • Excellent understanding of customer needs
  • Experience on Server Virtualization like Vmware, Hyper-V and KVM.
  • Knowledge on Cloud Computing (Azure Stack, Openstack, AWS, GCP)
  • Knowledge on SAP HANA & HPC solutions
  • Experience in Linux (ie. Suse & RHEL) and Windows
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of business models such as OPEX / CAPEX
