Purpose of the Role:

Lenovo is seeking a highly motivated, full-time SSG Sales Business Reporting Manager. The ideal candidate would be reliable, personable, and team-oriented with drive to take on new responsibilities and embrace emerging technologies. This individual will work with key stakeholders across services sales distribution business units to identify business questions that can be answered with data. You will leverage in-house data models, visualization tools, and measures to facilitate data insight conversations and produce solutions as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the reporting team in creating, developing and enhancing a suite of visualization reports using PowerBI for executive and services sales leadership.

• Leverage modern BI tools to extract and manipulate data from a variety of diverse sources.

• Document data models, created measures, and infrastructure as they are developed.

• Perform analysis on datasets to understand data structure and possible visuals to answer business questions.

• Work as part of a larger sales operations team partaking in collaboration and assisting others when needed.

• Proactively monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency in the Services Sales planning and reporting efforts.

• Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of reports and other intelligence essential to Services Sales. Recommends revisions to existing reports and develops new reports/analyses as required.

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve overall operations reporting processes.

• Ad hoc duties as required.

Experience and Skills Required:

• At least 8 years of work experience, proficiency with SQL or other querying languages used with relational databases strongly preferred.

• Experience leading a team.

• Proficiency in PowerBI or other visualization software.

• Excellent cross-group collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.

• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

• Ability to multi-task, deal effectively with ambiguity, change in business requirements, and self-prioritize under pressure

• The ability to understand business questions/pain points and alleviate with supporting data.

• Genuine interest in visual analytics and openness to learn new tools in an everchanging space.

• Experience working with Python or R data module libraries preferred by not compulsory.

• Good understanding of dimensional modeling and relational databases.

• Some creative and design skills are a plus.
