THE ROLE

We are seeking an entrepreneurial individual to help build Motorola’s B2B business from the ground-up, pursuing business development opportunities in the commercial segment. 

With Moto’s security solutions and award winning portfolio you will focus on development within the major telco B2B channels. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the competitive environment of wireless and business solutions and how to best position our products and solutions to drive results

  • Leverage existing and developing new relationships owning the sales cycle from pitch to closing strategy.

  • Work closely with the internal Motorola teams supporting telco channel sales and VARs, such as engineering, product operations, marketing and finance team to transact optimal business opportunities that drive positive return on investment

  • Create own business models/analysis and articulate optimal ROI/strategy internally and externally

  • Lead planning and execution of: road map (mapping to customer needs), sell in of each product (tied to overall experience and Motorola promise), marketing and launch plans, sell out initiatives to maximize each product, end of life management

  • Be fully responsible for drafting, negotiating, and deal sheet/terms approved (internal and external processes)

  • Work closely with business operations to ensure alignment on forecast

  • Work with training and product marketing teams to increase awareness of Motorola’s B2B products and services.

  • Own all aspects of the account (all business groups, all functions, external & internal)

  • Critical understanding of customer vital stats, org charts, initiatives, strategies; and make recommendations of approach

  • Travel to customer events and participate as needed (typical during non pandemic)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven track record of sales growth and execution in a related industry, with the ability to forecast and manage business performance and results

  • Ability to recognize and anticipate the challenges our customers face and how Motorola’s products and services address their pain points. 

  • Highly adept at fostering collaboration among sales, business operations, marketing, finance, strategy and product development to enable ideas to be efficiently executed

  • Employs innovative and creative thinking to solve business problems with non-traditional solutions

  • Strong communication, attention to detail and leadership skills to support across all levels of management

  • Demonstrated negotiation expert; possesses ability to anticipate next move

  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience
