Main Duties:
Operations support for retail marketing expenses. Specifically track and manage accounts receivables from retail marketing/retail expenses.
On-going multi-million marketing expenses for Best Buy US, Best But CA, and Amazon, and ad-hoc/ incremental retail marketing expenses for US & CA retailers.
Collaborate with NA Marketing retail team on understanding quarterly and annual retail expenses that will go DFI process.
Manage ongoing ledger of retailer invoice approvals. Ensure program costs track to associated budgets.
Ownership of reviewing and clearing deductions in MSFT Dynamics tool.
About the role:
Retail expense deductions specialist will play an integral role in supporting the operations of retail marketing programs in US and Canada. The candidate’s success will be a key contribution for the North America Consumer budgets to operate at a best-in-class level.
This role will working closely with the Consumer Retail Marketing Managers and North America Consumer Marketing Operations team. You will gain hands-on experience in accounting, operations and financial tools, and in-depth knowledge in accounting and expense flows. The candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams to streamline operations, control costs, mitigate budget risk and optimize resource allocation for the betterment of the quality and performance of Lenovo marketing programs.
Knowledge and skills required
- Experience and demonstrated success with budget planning and management, resource planning, and financial and/or operational management of marketing or other business-related programs.
- Detail oriented with strong planning, organization, execution, and project management skills.
- Ability to communicate and present effectively with different levels of management and functional disciplines.
- Problem solving skills allowing for identification of key business questions and insights to address program improvements.
- Proficient analytical skills and a bias for making data-driven decisions.
- Self-starter with ability to navigate ambiguous or new situations without constant guidance.
