Description and Requirements


We are looking for an experienced software sales expert to join the Cloud Software Sales Team, focused on targeting new customers to expand the footprint of Lenovo’s ThinkShield portfolio of security solutions. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment. This person should be passionate about selling solution and have a proven track record of identifying, engaging, and closing SaaS security software-focused opportunities.

As a Security Sales Specialist your job is to engage new customer accounts, uncover their needs, and guide them through the buying process independent of hardware or services sales. You will also be tasked with selling into existing accounts as a sales resource to our hardware sales organization.


* Own all aspects the sales process by building relationships with key decision makers, identifying their needs and desired outcomes
* Collaborate with Lenovo Sales in order to penetrate accounts where there is a software component of the sale, or where new software sales opportunities exist
* Develop expertise in Lenovo ThinkShield software solutions to effectively demo customers on features, functions.
* Maintain effective time management skills in order to open new accounts, manage the sales cycle, and forecast accurately
* Properly document all customer details and interactions in CRM
* Prioritize workload to meet all KPI’s, goals, and sales objectives



* 3-5 years of proven, customer-facing experience in software sales role selling complex security-focused solutions
* Experience presenting and demonstrating software solutions to decision makers on IT staff and senior management
* Bachelors degree or commensurate experience


* Demonstrated success with all stages of the sales process from prospecting to closing
* Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills (English)
* Self-directed with a track record or meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas
* This position is fully remote, but may require up to 20% travel

The base salary range for this position in California Colorado, New York City, Nevada and Washington, is $100,000 - $120,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on
