Description and Requirements

We are seeking a dynamic, high-performing Account Executive experienced in selling security solutions to the corporate sector. The ideal candidate will manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, and should thrive on the pursuit of new business. They will also contribute to our internal teams' innovation by sharing insights on client challenges and their knowledge of Lenovo's security solution offerings.

The role involves engaging with prospects to identify needs and opportunities, thereby broadening the adoption of our products and services. This will aid in their success by reducing risk, speeding up threat detection and response, and fostering a culture prioritizing security.


Job Responsibilites:

  •  Crafting and evolving detailed business plans, pinpointing key partners, accounts (notably system integrators), and end customers.
  • Developing and executing sales activity plans, enablement, training, and onboarding processes.
  •  Acting as the company's ambassador in major initiatives and cultivating relationships with pertinent IT security business partners and system integrators.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to position the company as a preferred provider for customers and business partners in security-related solutions and services.
  • Coordinating with the sales leaders to set and monitor objectives and KPIs for team performance evaluation.
  • Engaging with various internal stakeholders, including sales, services, and operations teams.
  • Focusing primarily on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
  • Discovering new leads, fostering business growth, and maintaining client relationships.
  • Applying a comprehensive array of information security concepts, principles, frameworks, standards, and methodologies to achieve client business goals through information security.
  • Providing information security services and communicating effectively with end-users, specialist engineers, and management.
  • Evaluating ICT environments for potential weaknesses and enhancing security postures during formal security risk assessments and continuous operations.
  • Identifying and relaying security threats to clients' operations.
  • Leading the design and deployment of security technologies, including threat detection and response, network security, system hardening, identity and access management, remote access, advanced endpoint solutions, intrusion detection and containment, as well as monitoring and audit functions.
  • Implementing various information security products, both hardware and software.
  • Contributing to the development of solution architecture and functional requirements.

Basic Requirements:

  •  Must have at least 5+ years’ experience selling cybersecurity solutions and technology
  • A background in Business Development and Sales within End User Computing solutions portfolio, specializing in the Device and Data Security portfolio

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with information security compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or ISM. Work Experience
  •  Must have a working knowledge of cybersecurity and technology
  •  skilled in determining needs and business value to the customer
  •  Exposure to security products such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management and threat intelligence
  •  Broad knowledge and experience with multiple ICT technologies and environments, e.g. Windows and Linux servers and workstations; network and communications devices (firewalls, routers, switches); security appliances (IPS, UTM, SIEM); application delivery technology; and web publishing platforms
  •  Knowledge and experience with Windows Server environments, Active Directory including Group Policy, and the various security mechanisms within Microsoft operating systems and enterprise environments
  •  Excellent presentation skills with demonstrated experience dealing with clients face-to-face or virtually
  •  Site experience would be highly advantageous
  •  Ability to meet financial targets
  •  Time management skills and the ability to prioritize
  •  Experience in enterprise environments
  •  Extensive level of industry acumen; keeps current with trends and able to converse with clients on issues and challenges at multiple levels of customer management
  •  Demonstrates strong communication skills with customer management, as well as C-level executives
  •  Ability to leverage a deep understanding of the competition




The base salary range budgeted for this position is $135,000 - $165,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
