Description and Requirements

As our new Global Strategic Channel Programs Specialist you will lead the co-creation of global strategic structure & programs under the Lenovo 360 global channel framework and own the Strategy and Development of the Expert and Specialist Channel.  In close collaboration with the International Market Geographies and global business groups, you will define the structure/program/incentives that drive partner depth and breadth across the Specialized partner ecosystem including Specialized Expert, Distribution, Value Added Resellers, Managed Service Providers, Telcos, and System Integrators.  They will align with key support functional leaders to ensure the effective launch and management of each Strategic channel program to drive partner simplicity, ease of execution, and integration. 

You will report to our Global Channel Strategy & Development Director based in India.

Overall responsibilities

  • Defining the strategic direction of incentive programs across all geographies specific to Strategic Expert & Specialized channel.
  • Alignment, collaboration, and co-creation of the specialized value programs across all key constituents including the sales geographies, business groups, and supporting functional teams.
  • Establishing key success metrics and ability to track and measure success accordingly.
  • Implement incentives to drive Solutions channel growth & enablements.
  • Effectively deliver the strategic program blueprint in alignment with the overall Lenovo 360 channel framework.
  • Ensure compliance of the programs with local, state, and federal regulations and rules.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards, compliance with internal and industry Financial and Audit rules.

Position Requirements

  • Master’s degree, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in a Business Planning, Strategic development, or business management roles.
  • 10 years of working in an indirect channel environment.
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, and written skills.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build a lead a project in collaboration with high performing program professionals
  • Strategic planning and long-term vision with execution on short term plans
  • Proven ability to collaborate across a global organization and ability to balance between Internal and External customers.
