Role Details
This is a full-time, Senior HR Analytics Professional individual contributor position with the Lenovo Global People Analytics team based out of Bangalore.
This is a global role and the candidate will be hired into the Global People Analytics team to design and develop complex organization wide analytics Visualization and Models. This role would allow interaction with HR and Cross-Functional teams across Locations (More than 60 Countries) and Business Groups within Lenovo
This role requires an SME with good Business Acumen, Consulting Skills, and Project Management. The candidate should also be proficient in SQL syntax & database operations, Power BI, MS Excel. In addition, the incumbent should possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written with a strong urge to learn, drive, and innovate, should love numbers and be passionate about applying data analytics to solve HR Strategy and business problems
The other good to have skills are Python, MS SQL Server, Talend, VBA.

Required Educational Background & Experience: -
MBA / MTech /MSC in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Data Mining, Econometrics, or related fields
4 to 7 years of related experience (HR domain experience is not mandatory but a plus)

Responsibilities

- Should be able to effectively front-end and deploy analytical solutions to stakeholders which includes interpreting data, building a story around it, and presenting the same to the HR and Business stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with real-time data & proficiency in SQL syntax & database operations / Power BI / MS Excel is a must
- Database Management experience on MS SQL Server and Talend, also the knowledge of Python / VBA / R / R Studio will be an advantage
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to socialize analytical models to internal clients, senior management, and peers. Good Communication Skill is a must since this role would interact with HR Teams across locations
- Should participate in all aspects of the analytics life cycle, including analysis, design development, production deployment, and support along with project management and ability to persuade stakeholders
- Strong problem solver. Should be able to formulate approaches and gather data to solve business problems, develop conclusions, and present solutions through formal deliverables
- Entrepreneurial Mindset and experience in working in a fast-paced project with tight deadlines
- Ability to multitask since efforts will be focused on numerous initiatives and tasks
- Ability to pick up new areas and work independently
