Lenovo OEM is looking for a passionate, articulate, and enthusiastic Senior Japan OEM Sales Manager to manage a team of professionals. This is a true leader role for candidates who excelled in delivering during their individual contributor roles against set targets, goals and objectives throughout their careers to lead by example, a good balance of prospecting and relationship management. The chosen Senior Japan OEM Sales Manager will create positive business outcomes for his/her clients and Lenovo OEM by managing a set of Strategic Clients and the Japan OEM team supporting his/her Region.


These are your detailed responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall Japan OEM IDG Business including Strategy, OEM Accounts, OEM Channel portfolio, Profitability and RTM
  • Strategic clients, people management responsibilities, including KPI/objective setting, coaching, performance feedback & assessment
  • In addition to people management responsibilities, will have responsibility for their department’s resources, short-term planning, and budget
  • Provide support and training to other team members
  • Demonstrate expertise in building customers relationships, which promote and enable a deep understanding of the customers’ business goals and objectives
  • Demonstrate effective coaching techniques; provide feedback and seek/provide learning opportunities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the sales team by reviewing sales strategies, forecasts and participating in customer meetings
  • Manage the creation and delivery of accurate weekly, quarterly and annual forecasts and account plans
  • Provide professional leadership and coordination for sales team
  • Responsible for significant key partner relationship management and development
  • Recruit, hire and retain top talent
  • Assist in the development and review of OEM Account Plans for top accounts
  • Conduct deep analysis in identifying complex problems; generate and coordinate solutions with other functions or team members to solve complex problems
  • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
  • Identify sales support requirements and work with marketing to develop improve sales tools
  • Be a positive representative of the Lenovo OEM Business and its brand in the marketplace


 

Organization

You will report to our AP OEM Sales Director for Commercial Smart Devices Solutions Group. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings.


What you’ll bring/ Position Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success selling in a highly competitive environment (minimum of 12 years of sales experience with 3 years in management)
  • Minimum five years sales experience in the OEM Solutions market with a proven track record of success
  • Proven ability to sell complex end-to-end OEM solutions including the supporting management, services, software, customisation and lifecycle
  • Deep understanding of the core technologies, industry trends, and OEM’s unique route-to-market
  • Proficient with MS Office and sales CRM solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and sales skills
  • Leadership capabilities and presence that enables you to work effectively at all levels within an organization
  • Ability to create and implement successful sales plans
  • Experience selling TCO and ROI business models to executives
  • Ability to mentor and motivate sales representatives who work remotely
