Description and Requirements

Join the Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) managing and working with the CDW account team. We are looking for a leader with a strong motivation around growth orientated goals.  The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the infrastructure market, and “what it takes” to drive excitement and interest across all levels of CDW.

Lenovo's partners are critical to our overall success and represent a major expansion in our execution. CDW is a strategic route to market and key part of our execution strategy. Lenovo ISG is currently hiring a Senior Manager - Channel, with experience owning strategy and execution within the channel.  The successful candidate will work specifically with CDW and collaborate with Lenovo sales teams to integrate and execute programs designed to drive server, storage, software, and services sales into the market in conjunction with CDW.  Lenovo is focused on high-growth and we are looking for a high-energy, forward-thinking leader to make a significant and immediate impact.

Ideally, candidates will be located near CDW in Chicago, IL but open to candidates nationwide.   

The Senior Manager – Channel - CDW will be responsible for:

·       Develop, implementing, and execute the overall Lenovo ISG strategy to drive profitable growth in partnership with CDW.

·       Drive to exceed assigned quotas

·       Collaborating with a team of Channel Account Managers and Inside Sales Teams to create initiatives to drive infrastructure opportunities by verticals/geographies

·       Building and fostering relationships internally and with partner sellers to drive Lenovo preference by creating a fun and easy-to-do-business with mentality

·       Participating in customer and/or partner calls

·       Implementing storage, services and software attach behavior within assigned accounts to go beyond traditional compute by leveraging existing customer databases and developing up/cross-sell strategies

·       Developing and owning sales pipeline and opportunities by territory

·       Conducting regular QBRs and maintain all action items to completion

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
•         BA/BS degree or equivalent professional work experience
•         5+ Years with Sales including infrastructure and channel experience

Preferred Requirements:
•         Drive for business results and proven success in achieving revenue goals
•         Proven ability to develop strategies to create programmatic success in the market
•         Travel to any or all partner sites when necessary
•         Strong teamwork, communication, and inter-personal skills
