Description and Requirements

We are looking for a self-driven leader to own and manage monetization programs within Gaming and Education segments. This includes building organic and partner monetization models for Lenovo.com and Lenovo communities.  Responsibilities will include working with Segment and Regional eCommerce Leaders to identify and size opportunities and ROI, define inputs needed from cross-functional teams, tech implementation needs (ex – for subscriptions, automated key code delivery) and leading a global bms to drive the roadmap. This role will also include, with the Gaming and Education segment leaders, identifying and securing gaming and EDU partners and managing the partnership agreements to closure (working with Lenovo Business Development and legal).   


Requirements will include: 

  • Build and validate monetization models using analytics and market information 

  • Build partner onboarding processes – legal, marketing, tech and commerce integration 

  • Develop Monetization reporting platform for partners and communities and drive and resolve issues/opportunities 

  • Work with cross functional teams (geography, product, community managers, merchandising) to execute the monetization roadmap 

The successful candidate has a drive to be entrepreneurial and will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically. This person will be responsible for developing the plan and making sure the plan is executed and ROI results secured. This person will need to have the ability to work independently as a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in an ever-evolving environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong business modeling skills, business case experience, general management mindset, prioritization skills and have a strong leadership presence, including communicating clearly and convincingly, and meet commitments  
 

You are an ideal candidate for this role if: 

  • You are an entrepreneur at heart and can articulate a monetization strategy, key performance indicators and reporting mechanisms for a matrixed cross-functional stakeholder process. 

  • You are able to capture and distill data from varying inputs including leadership, customer analysis, customer research, and cross-teams and translate to the development of a cohesive roadmap 

  • You can easily evaluate gaps and risks and develop options to mitigate while capturing alignment across stakeholders  

  • You are a self-starter and can juggle multiple priorities simultaneously 

  • You have exceptional analytical skills and are a problem solver   

  • You have strong written and verbal communications skills at a senior leadership level 
     
     

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, including in online marketing and/or e-commerce 

  • Experience in modeling and partner management 

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects across functional teams 

  • Experience working with Excel 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
