Job Responsibilities:
This position will support global sales teams through the creation, review, and maintenance of security collateral as well as the creation of training and education programs to ultimately empower sales teams to evangelize Lenovo’s strong security posture. This position will serve as a security subject matter expert in support of sales efforts around Lenovo’s security operations and offerings. As a member of a cohesive team, the incumbent will also have an opportunity to work in other security areas to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and be an ambassador for our strong Lenovo security culture.
Essential functions and duties include:
· Managing the global security support engagement process
· Managing Lenovo’s security subject matter expert certification program to identify, train, and certify security subject matter experts within Lenovo’s International Sales Organization
· Creating security education and training programs for sales and non-sales employees, executives, and senior executives
· In partnership with Lenovo Communication and Marketing teams, create, review, and maintain security collateral for internal and external use in alignment with Lenovo’s global security programs and narratives
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Competencies (KSAC’s):
· Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of technical and non-technical personnel at all levels of the organization
· Strong ability to manage and quickly adapt to multi-faceted requirements within Lenovo’s security enterprise areas
· Strong creative ability and an innovative, entrepreneurial mindset
· Demonstrated technical knowledge and competency using Microsoft SharePoint or similar platform to create websites that store, organize, share, and access information
· Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
· Strong ability to build credibility quickly with internal and external stakeholders
· Demonstrable skill in navigating highly-collaborative, complex, matrixed organizations
· Strong ability to manage ambiguous situations assertively but tactfully
· Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment
Job Requirements:
· 12+ years comprehensive experience in Product Security, Supply Chain Risk Management, Cybersecurity/Information Security, and/or Physical Security
· Demonstrable experience in various security domains including risk management, compliance, security strategy, security engineering, and/or operations
· Extensive experience interacting with and successfully developing and managing relationships with internal and external customers (entry level to senior executives)
· Experience managing and navigating CRM tools (such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics) and sales enablement platforms (such as SAVO or Highspot)
Educational Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree required. Strong preference for degrees in computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity disciplines
Preferred Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in technology or security-related discipline strongly preferred (MBA satisfactory if held in conjunction with other requirements
· Security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, OSCP) a plus
- Experience in security consulting with a mid to large-size consulting firm/practice is a plus
Travel Requirements:
· This role will require travel (at least 30%)
We are open to this role being remote anywhere in the Continental United States.
The base salary budgeted range for this position in CA, CO, Jersey City - NJ, NV, Ithaca - NY, NYC and WA, is $190,000 - $215,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found on www.lenovobenefits.com.
