Description and Requirements

Summary: The Pre-sales Consultant for SAP Solutions will play a pivotal role in the pre-sales process, working closely with the sales team and potential clients to understand their business needs, and demonstrate the value of our SAP solutions that aligns with their strategic objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP technologies as well as experience with migration methodologies such as brownfield, bluefield, and greenfield approaches. You will have great opportunity to extend your knowledge & experience through work on delivery and business development projects with the newest technologies and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: Collaborate with sales team to understand client requirements and pain points; Conduct workshops and interviews to gather detailed information on client business processes; Translate client needs into tailored SAP solution proposals that address their specific challenges and objectives.
  • Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our SAP solutions.
  • Technical Proposals: Create detailed technical proposals and configuration documents that outline the proposed solution and its alignment with client needs.
  • Sales Support: Provide technical expertise, support, and necessary documentation to the sales team throughout the sales process, including responding to RFPs, RFIs and bids.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their business and acting as a trusted advisor.

Qualifications & Experiecnce:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a pre-sales role, preferably within the SAP solutions space.
  • A strong understanding of SAP and integration with other applications/systems in an IT landscape
  • Must hold one or more SAP certifications.
  • Experience in responding to RFPs and RFIs, and creating effective sales proposals and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and cross-functional groups.
  • Knowledge of the APAC market and its business dynamics is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English & Cantonese must.
