Description and Requirements

Senior Professional, Product Management Serve as Lead Senior Product Manager for High Volume Product Lines within the ThinkPad commercial PC portfolio. Develop strategic vision and definition of market requirements and specifications for next generation ThinkPad computing products. Apply advanced technical knowledge of PC design and sub-systems towards defining market requirements and system specifications for mobile computing products. Leverage deep PC Industry knowledge to lead customer and market input to drive cross functional teams including Hardware Engineering, Component Engineering, Industrial Design, User Experience, Accessories, Services, and Software teams to develop new products and product improvements to meet customer needs and lead the industry. Collaborate with customers to sell in of products as well as gain key insights about customer and user needs for current and future generation products. Identify current and future customer needs and pain points and envision solutions to be developed and launched. Drive product and portfolio strategies for key product lines based on segment strategy, industry/market trends, competitive environment, key partner roadmaps, and technology evolution. Be a key member of cross functional core product team with additional responsibilities including: creating product value propositions, making key product trade-off decisions, setting cost budgets, developing business cases, deciding product configurations. 

 Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 10 or more months of relevant experience Identifying market trends and competitive product lines; Computer hardware systems, technologies, and specifications: CPUs, Memory (RAM), Storage (HDD/SSD), Thermals, Wireless (Wi-Fi and 4G/5G), Graphics Processing (GPUs), USB, Mechanical Structures and Materials; Computer Operating Systems (OS) and software; Customer engagement and identifying customer needs.
