Description and Requirements

Lenovo’s Infrastructure Systems Group is currently seeking a proven, dynamic Senior Manager to drive our Digital Transformation and associated tools. This will require deep technical and organizational skills to join our Transformation and Operations Development team in Morrisville.  In this key exciting position, you will be part of an innovative team responsible for envisioning and creating brand new ISG development tools, process and implementation plans that are critical to Lenovo’s future success as a data driven enterprise.

The ideal candidate will bring knowledge of existing enterprise product development, processes and tools used.  The Senior Manager will drive solutions and operational change through development and quality cross functional organization.  They’ll be able to build and work closely within a complex disciplines and organization.  This will require the skills to leverage industry tools with competency, creativity and drive for results.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new tool strategies and plans, including before/after processes, data flows, and ROI calculations
  • Negotiate with internal tool development resources to achieve the required functionality and schedule. 
  • Create compelling high-level proposals and champion new tools directly to our Senior Executives.
  • Navigate proposals through the end to end funding process.
  • Bring together active participants and stakeholders to team up build, test and deploy new tools and data analytical solutions.
  • Manage sprints and schedules to incrementally deliver valuable functions.

Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience leading projects technology-based product development projects
  • Ability to define a project scope and complete a detailed project sizing of resources
Preferred Qualifications 
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience identifying risk associated with change and develop a strategy and/or change management process to overcome and address risk 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Experience measuring and tracking return on investment and/or value realization of projects/solutions. 
  • Ability to understand complex technical problems 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for a variety of tasks, including customer engagement, executive updates 
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and passionate to learn new technologies skills

Manage worldwide roll-outs and education, and create educational material to drive the necessary organizational change management.
