Description and Requirements

Working closely with cross-functional internal stakeholders, the Senior Proposal Manager is responsible for the timely submission of high-quality, competitive proposals aligned with customer requirements and objectives.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinates cross functional stakeholders including Sales Teams, Solution Architect, and Subject Matter Experts during the proposal development process to develop win strategies, technical and management solutions, compliant proposal responses.
  • Manages and coordinates proposal schedule, resources, and deliverables with the Sales Team and Pre Award Contract Manager for timely submission of proposal responses.
  • Review and analyze procurement documents to identify and communicate to the proposal team key information and requirements.
  • Performs writing support as required based on resources for major proposal sections and volumes, including planning, prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, and incorporating comments and suggestions for proposal sections, including technical, management, past performance, resumes, and executive summaries as needed.
  • Analyzes and reviews content and provides feedback to writers regarding updates to a proposal response
  • Research, write, and edit such items as resumes, project descriptions, design and construction approach plans, forms, and other content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and write content by translating complex design and construction concepts into easily understandable narratives for the reader.
  • Proofread proposal content ensuring compliance with client requirements, readability, grammar and spelling, and win theme message consistency and clarity.
  • Assist with the assembly and submission of the assigned proposal in hard and/or electronic copy document format.
  • Prepare slide decks and other documents for internal and client presentations.
  • Maintains the knowledge repository, including updates to templates
  • Stays informed regarding proposal and technical industry best practices, trends, and changes in government contracting regulations to continuously improve proposal development processes and outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
