Description and Requirements

Do you enjoy working with data & analysis? Do you have experience in inventory reporting, planning or reserves?

In this role you will manage cost on behalf of our stakeholders within our Services teams and you will focus on costs associated with services parts and inventory, primarily reserves and redemption. You will become a part of our International Services Support organization.

These are your detailed responsibilities:

  • Act as cost management focal point for reserves/provisions/liability/E&O/ redemption
  • Work with finance teams to implement and maintain inventory reserves and redemption methodologies and forecasting for products including GP (ESMB) and CSP (Cloud Service Provider)
  • Collaborate with geo ops and finance teams, brand planners, CFOs on both reserves and redemption
  • Ensure accurate reporting, validation and forecasting to minimise cost to Lenovo.
  • Implement processes and controls
  • Develop reporting mechanisms to identify out of line metrics and identify CTO (Cost Take Out) opportunities
  • Data collection and reporting of redemption for each geo, by redemption type, cash credit, part for part, MR, repair
  • Understand implications of common parts and modify methodology based on analysis


Organization

You will report to our Manager of Services Cost Operations based in Glasgow and you will be a part of our wider Services organisation. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings.


What you’ll bring:

  • 5 – 8 years previous experience working on either/or inventory reporting and planning, reserves, redemption.
  • SAP reporting skills.
  • Data mining and analysis skills whether via database and/or spreadsheet analysis.
  • Confident in preparing presentations and presenting to execs.
  • Team player and able to work on own with minimum management direction.
