Description and Requirements

As a part of Lenovo SSG (Services Solution Group) the Services Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of assigned customer facing Professional Services projects. This position requires the individual to work efficiently and effectively with Presales, Sales, Operations, and Fulfillment team members and Partners to deliver leadership offerings on-time and in scope.

This role requires a thought leader who demonstrates strong business acumen and maturity and is comfortable and effective with driving business objectives and ensuring P&L targets are met, while acting as a trusted advisor.

The candidate should have 3+ years of experience in a combination of IT Technology, Services, and Project Management. This candidate should have strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with stakeholders at all levels.


Position Requirements:
* Expected to analyze and manage project detail while simultaneously aligning the "big picture" project priorities with the priorities of the company and customer.
*
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects of varying duration and shifting priorities, as required.
* Identifies project problems (and/or risks) in advance and documents mitigation and corrective action plans.
* Achieves schedules/milestones, ensuring accuracy and quality of business analysis, driving on time completion, within budget and according to planned objectives by overseeing activities of various work streams.

* Drives continuous process improvement.

* Apply negotiation skills in addition to strong problem solving in order to resolve medium to complex issues.
* Strong analytical skillset, strong communication and presentation skills.
* Collaborative approach & ability to influence across the organization.

* Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree required
* 3+ years of IT technology, and customer facing experience
* 3+ years of project management or similar experience, service delivery experience a plus
* Executive-level communication & presentation skills
 * PMP certification preferred
