Description

As the Software Project Manager for the Design Innovation UX/UI team, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end UX/UI project lifecycle, managing deliverables and processes, and ensuring the successful completion of software projects. Your expertise in Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies, combined with your strong project management skills, will be key in driving the team's success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams around the world, including designers, developers, marketing, and stakeholders, to manage the delivery of exceptional user experiences through intuitive and visually appealing software interfaces that delight our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire UX/UI project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to processes, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Work closely with the UX/UI team to understand project requirements, scope, and objectives, and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Employ both Agile and Waterfall software development models to provide seamless integration between multiple organizations and adapting processes accordingly.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, including tasks, milestones, and dependencies, effectively managing project resources to ensure timely delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative and cross-functional team environment, facilitating communication, coordination, and knowledge sharing among team members.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, providing timely solutions and escalation as necessary to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate regular status reports for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize project management methodologies and enhance overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in managing software projects, with a focus on UX/UI project management preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in both Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Proficiency in English at a conversational level, both written and verbal – strong written and verbal communications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a matrixed organization, navigating through multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Strong computer skills with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other office tools
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Figma desired but not mandatory
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
