Software Product Manager
This is a highly visible role, and the individual will be tasked to shape our Software Go-to-Market Strategy to help accelerate Lenovo’s expansion of our software and services portfolio. The desired candidate will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a start-up mentality while possessing the ability to navigate within Lenovo’s complex organization to achieve product delivery and revenue targets.
You will
- Work with software partners and internal stakeholders to define initiatives to drive software and services sales and optimize conversion
- Understanding of industry trends and competitive landscape software utilities for commercial and consumer PC software applications
- Tracking product performance in areas such as revenue, profitability, quality and customer feedback
- Develop a mid-to-long-term go-to-market strategy to accelerate revenue growth
- Holding quarterly QBR with partners and internal stakeholders
- Assist cross-functional marketing and sales teams to achieve KPI
- Generate reports on partner project delivery and revenue generation performance
You bring:
- 8+ years of experience in software project management, software product marketing or business development.
- Ability to devise a tailored go-to-market strategy for software products utilizing Lenovo’s vast go-to-market channels
- Ability to provide directions for demand generation and funnel optimization for both direct and indirect sales motions
- Ability to build complex modelling and develop performance KPIs around product quality, go-to-market success, and revenue targets
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey strategic directions to internal stakeholders and participate in product strategy and QBR sessions with partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience utilizing industry-leading project management tools such as Jira, Zoho and Smart Sheet etc.
- Hands-on experience utilizing industry-leading CRMs such as SFDC & Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience in creating technical product requirement documents and RFIs.
