What You’ll Do:

Lenovo is seeking an experienced ISG Software and Solutions segment Product Manager who will be responsible for defining the concept and strategy for new Software as an offering providing new management, service offerings across multiple business units in Lenovo.  You will implement the minimum viable product from the first steps and supervise its development and enrichment.

This is an exciting and high growth area for Lenovo; only experienced individuals should apply; you will be working closely with internal core teams and your SME experience needs to be shared for the proper outcome.

The individual must have insights into IT software infrastructure and understand how a global mid – enterprise leverages solutions your team designs and executes. Decisions must be based on objective decisions, goals pre-set and a honest reflection on results.

The individual should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about go-to-market, solution collaboration, be able to articulate and convey compelling product value propositions and demonstrated success.


  • Be the voice of the geography and segments to ensure visions are matching the ability to execute
  • Understand the Partner product strategy, market penetration, and alignment with the market
  • Align best of reality with a vision to ensure, investments made have the greatest opportunity for success
  • Develop a relationship with geographies and segments to ensure direction matches what success is for GTM
  • Capture challenges, remediate challenges, leverage partners to assist in solving and optimizing product opportunities
  • Understand macro trends in the market, be bold, and back opinions and hypothesis with fact
  • Be a spokesperson for Lenovo and your responsibilities, publish on social media, speak at industry forums, and develop a brand
  • Own a PRD that articulates where you are directing the business, actions being taken, and capture learnings
  • Share your software and life experiences with others within Lenovo
  • Partner with Hardware and Services to develop broader margins for the business
  • Develop analytics, dashboards, and reports that develop greater insights and share learnings providing guidance through clearly defined initiatives, user flows and stories – prioritizing and deciding tradeoffs where necessary

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years product management experience
  • Agile development process experience

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA degree or equivalent experience
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Systems Management in Hybrid Cloud environments
  • Ability to operate independently without requiring many directions
  • Experience defining vision and strategy for technical products
  • Strong technical acumen and passion for learning new technologies
  • Self-starter who can manage ambiguity, chart a clear course, and make tough decisions
  • Proficiency in English required
  • Ability to act quickly on multiple challenges
