Who You’ll Work With:


At Lenovo, we manufacture one of the world’s widest portfolios of connected products, including PCs (ThinkPad, Yoga, Lenovo Legion), tablets, smartphones and workstations as well as augmented and virtual reality (Mirage, ThinkReality) and smart home/office solutions.  We are also building an innovative portfolio of software and services which are changing the industry.  Lenovo is creating the capacity and computing power for the connections that are changing business and society.

We are hiring a recent college graduate to join our team as a Software Test Analyst. The target start will be June 2023.


Responsibilities:

·       Completely and carefully follow all the steps in a test case and/or process

·       Understand the technical and business requirements side of the product and be able to represent that information into written test cases

·       Look at products from the viewpoint of customers/users and report any defects in written test cases

·       Look at the product from the perspective of breaking it rather than building it

·       Report defects clearly and completely

·       Eye for detail at the UI and UX level not just to match the requirement but also to understand the intended workflow

·       Communicate findings and answer questions in a bug scrub and other one -off tester-development calls

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Understand the full software development life cycle process for coding and testing
  • Familiar with Agile development and the associated tools (Jira/ Confluence)
  • Understand the nuances of multiple Operating Systems and associated browsers
  • Experience with test automation
  • Ability to quickly learn LanSchool Air product and become a subject matter expert

  • Self-starter who has the ability to manage their own work
  • Self-discipline to work from home
  • Willingness to learn
  • Able to occasionally work evening hours or weekend (rare occurrence and never alone)
