Description and Requirements
The EMEA Smart Solutions Marketing Manager is designed to be the Marketing champion for PCSD Smart Solutions and profit pools like esp. Workstations and Smart Collaboration Solutions in the geo. This role is part of the EMEA Marketing team reporting to the EMEA PCSD Commercial Marketing Director. The primary purpose of this role is to increase brand awareness and consideration and finally generate demand and leads for the Smart Solutions portfolio through integrated Marketing approaches. This will require extensive collaboration with the related sales, product management and esp. marketing teams in the region as well a close alignment with worldwide Marketing.
Key Areas of responsibility:
- Develop B2B marketing strategies, tactics and plans for the related products & solutions to elevate our Lenovo Think subbrands and drive demand
- Activate campaigns and programs across the region as well as work with regional & local teams to guide and support them in local Marketing executions
- Further develop lead generation campaigns together with EMEA and local Marketing/sales teams to drive engagement and demand for the managed brands
- Plan and co-ordinate integrated Marketing tactics with the Channel and E-Commerce Marketing teams and align with the product management and PR teams for successful product launches
- Plan and execute strategic customer events and the participation in industry trade shows
- Engage with ISVs and alliance partners to extend our marketing scope and run joint activities
- Management of agencies/marketing suppliers in the region
- Own the strategic planning cycle including budget management for Smart Solutions Marketing in the region and measure, track and optimize success of the outcomes
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing or similar, MBA preferred
- At least 7+ years B2B Marketing experience in the IT or similar industry, ideally with focus on solution or services marketing, preferably in an international role
- Strategic thinking, customer orientation
- Open & effective communication with strong written and verbal English language communication skills
- Collaborative and commitment to achieving goals
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Reliable and highly-motivated self-starter, can do attitude, resilient and a team player
