• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience • Minimum of 7 years of customer facing technical sales experience in a highly competitive storage environment • Having worked in EMC, HDS, Netapp, HPE or IBM storage divisions would be a big plus • Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills • Successful track record of supporting the closure of business with technical consultancy • Successful track record of creating, presenting and positioning IT primary storage, HyperConvergence, Convergence and/or server virtualization solutions directly to end customers and via reseller channels • Experience in understanding the differences between various vendor implementations of Data tiering, Data Migrations, Multi-site deployments, and cloud integration, and the ability to articulate the differences in software capabilities of vendor storage technologies • Experience in using consultative sales techniques and able to articulate the technical value proposition to the customer • Up to date on the latest technologies and trends in the storage industry e.g. Flash, virtualization, cloud, content, etc. • Ability to work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and across functions including Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing and Product Development
