Description and Requirements




As Lenovo Solution Manager, your responsibilities will be to: 


  • Move company to software systems business model from hardware
  • Own the solution/product specifications, requirements, and release plans
  • Work with ISV and/or internal R&D to evaluate and integrate the solutions into company offerings.
  • Serve as the external and internal link for the solution/product, working with key customers and sales channel.
  • Work closely with stakeholders (such as customers, business development and the sales team) to understand needs, priorities and translate into solution/product requirements and definitions

Position Requirements: 

  • 7+ years of working experience in retail-related industries
  • Experience in software product management. Have a strong software background, especially in the retail industry, e.g. POS software, WMS, ERP etc.
  • Ability to understand the overall market, competitors, and technologies in the retail industry
  • Be able to work independently, be detail and results-oriented

You will report to SSG (Solutions & Services Group) organization structure.


SSG has been focusing on the expanding IT service market, especially the digital workplace services opportunity, the growing demand for aaS (as-a-Service) model, and customers’ stronger preference for sustainability services. Meanwhile, SSG continued to invest in software tools, platforms, and repeatable vertical solutions with our own IP, and focus on vertical solutions in manufacturing, retail, healthcare, education, and Smart City.  We are expanding TruScale as-a-Service to Digital Workplace solutions, developing our Hybrid Cloud solutions, and exploring Metaverse solutions.
