Description and Requirements

To maintain our leadership and compete in this aggressive marketplace, we are looking to enhance our team with additional talent. We are currently seeking a highly dynamic Program/Project Manager with education/experience necessary to join our growing Engineering & Solution’s team based in our 240,000 square feet Fulfillment, Services and Manufacturing Center in Whitsett, NC (between Greensboro/Burlington). 

The Solutions Program/Project Manager will be responsible for contributing to the company’s success by leading both strategic/tactical projects and initiatives across the facility.  These projects represent opportunities for the organization to develop new customer solutions not just within our facility, but possibly globally.  The candidate will be responsible for both leading and launching unique initiatives, many of which are technical in nature, along with a cross functional team to meet critical customer timelines.  The candidate will use their comprehensive knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of project management and business acumen to complete data analysis and evaluation in support of complex assignments for manufacturing, repair and fulfillment services.  You will collaborate closely with internal customers such as Sales, Services, Finance, and other global Lenovo cross functional teams to successfully wow our customers and exceed customer expectations.


    • Develop and project manage special initiatives based on needs of the business
    • Perform data analysis to provide logic-based solutions
    • Troubleshooting through critical thinking and out of the box problem solving
    • Prepare and present executive level business cases and proposals

Required Skills: 

    • BS in Engineering or BA in Business Administration 
    • At least 5 years of Project/Program Management or equivalent experience
    • Proven track record of working with cross functional team (Sales, Services, Engineering, Ops, Quality, Customer Service)
    • Demonstrated beneficial analytical and data driven decisions
    • Ability to adapt to change, multi-task and deal with ambiguity
    • Capability to prioritize workload and competing KPI’s

Preferred Skills: 

    • Master's Degree in Industrial/Computer Science Engineering or PMP
    • Services/Customer Fulfillment Operations Experience
    • Proficient SAP WMS knowledge 
    • CapEx Budget Management
