About Our Team
Working closely with High-Performance Computing, Complex deals, Cloud Service Providers, ThinkAgile, Storage and LeSI teams, you will join the product release operations team. This position requires the ability to understand the products and work with stakeholders including sales, development, marketing, segments, and supply chain.
You will work closely with the sales configurator to understand how to use it to configure our products. You will need to understand the product development process and how the system rules provided by development are translated into the rules tables that the configurators use.
About the Role
This position will also include responsibilities for conducting sales training for upcoming products you are responsible for and ensuring agreed schedules are met. The candidate should be able to provide technical leadership and align the team to achieve its goals.
Responsibilities
- Understand Lenovo DCG products, and how to utilize functions in the sales configurator to configure the products.
- Prepare documentation for developers to model into the sales configurator rule.
- Receive inputs from multiple sources and build a successful plan for implementing the new product solution.
- A proactive learner with the ability to research and quickly understand new products and their market value.
- Understand current and future business requirements of how the sales team utilizes the configurator.
- SPM role, responsible for learning and taking what development will support the product and creating the rule that the team will configure.
- Promote team productivity to meet organizational goals.
- Eagerness to learn and develop education used to support sales configuration.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor of Computer Science / Information Technology or above preferred.
- Previous experience developing product requirements and delivering requirements is highly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of Lenovo's end-to-end product launch processes (complex deals, DCLP, VLS, VLH) preferred
- Expert in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication, team and people skills.
- Adaptable and flexible to a changing work environment.
- Ability to work well with all levels including management, both internally and externally.
- Ability to solve complex problems and be persistent and assertive in facing obstacles.
- Flexibility to work non-regular hours on occasion to meet global needs.
