Description and Requirements

About the team:

  • AP Services sales team leads the P&L for Services, Software and Solution sales for India and South Asia Geo
  • Report to Director, Services sales - India by solid line and work closely with IN Segment/BU Heads as well as the regional sales teams.
  • Manage a team of APOS Sales Executives

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Align the long-term and near-term sales goals with the strategic objectives of IN Region and Segment/Business units. Focus on the effective deployment of resources to meet these goals.
  • Oversee all sales tactics and apply a result-driven approach to achieve monthly and quarterly and annual top-line and bottom-line targets
  • Establish and manage multiple routes-to-market and bring in best in class sales practices to engage effectively with end customers and business partners 
  • Be the voice-of-the-customer and bring customer insights to driving best in class CX.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with key stakeholders from within the team, segments as well as business partners and key accounts. 
  • Execute key Annual-Plan Big-Rock Projects which may involve working with cross-functional teams. 

Key Competencies Needed:

  • Stellar track record in a sales & marketing function
  • Understanding of Services & Solutions business in a Technology OEM environment in a pan-Indian context. Understanding of B2B sales cycle for identification of opportunities to maximize demand creation. Comprehension of target segments 
  • Strong background in customer acquisition and channel partner interface. 
  • Fearless and outspoken - articulate communication skills and capable of inspiring strong collaboration in an organization.
  • Exposure to e comm/digital marketing and product mgmt. roles preferred
  • Able to handle numbers , micro level yet having a big picture of  customer acquisition and targets
Team Collaboration
  •  India REL, SMB and Consumer Business Unit and sub-segment sales 
  •  India Leadership team, and AP Services Leadership team
  • India Channel partner eco-system
Previous Experience:
  • 12+ Years of experience
  •  Good track record of OEM sales & marketing
  • Work experience in IT/ITes industry
  • Understanding of key RTMs and channel partner ecosystem in the IT/ITes space
  • Ecom/digital mkt, selling exposure preferred.
