Description and Requirements

The marketing coordinator will assist in activating some of Lenovo NA’s strategic marketing partnerships particularly from a logistics and asset fulfillment standpoint. We are looking for someone who is a forward-thinking, detail-oriented, effective communicator. They will assist in maintaining Lenovo’s relationships with external partners and navigate our matrixed organization. This person should be comfortable interfacing with executives and partners at the highest levels.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain relationship with Lenovo’s key external partners and internal stakeholders in Lenovo NA’s sponsorships
  • Assist in managing sponsorships end-to-end to ensure Lenovo capitalizes on each asset, driving sales and brand reputation
  • Innovatively collaborate while considering internal goals to maximize the impact of sponsorship assets
  • Clearly communicate, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives
  • Work as a part of the greater NA Marketing team to build relationships within the company and grow awareness of NA-based sponsorships
  • Direct the planning/execution of timelines and logistics for sponsorship assets
  • Create, maintain and execute asset budget(s) within the pre-approved expenditure allotments
  • Day-to-day management of Lenovo’s ticket management portal
  • Administrative and project work where required, which includes:
    • timely activation of contractual benefits
    • postmortem learnings
    • campaign planning
    • contribution to overall strategy of how partnership marketing differentiates Lenovo in the marketplace from both a brand and sales perspective

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in marketing/sponsorships/hospitality/coordination
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or another related field required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Natural project manager, organized, detail-oriented and able to meet strict deadlines with third party agency partners
  • You exude creativity! Always thinking, how can this event be cooler, more fun or unique?
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and Google Enterprise suite of products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Timely, effective and professional communication. High level of communication, both verbal and written
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, strong flexibility to respond to changing priorities and needs
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to continuously acquire new competencies and accept new challenges
  • Proficiency in managing client requirements alongside internal goals, adeptly harmonizing the two
  • The ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment
  • Event-related travel: up to 10%
