We are looking for a new team member to our ISG Product Release Operations group, which has gone through the transformation and complete reorganization towards higher efficiency and smart processes. Sr. Application Developer is a key new role in the new structure, working on transformation projects and smart initiatives across organization.

Business Analyst & Improvement Specialist is a key new role in the new structure, leading transformation projects and smart initiatives across organization. You are going to report to : Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence based in Bratislava.

These are your detailed responsibilities:

  • to design application solutions based on business requirements to make processes more efficient and supported by ICT,
  • to develop mostly web applications in PHP/HTML/Javascript/MySQL etc., but occasionally use of Java EE/Python,
  • to maintain existing internal applications and reports (web based / MS Excel),
  • to estimate sizing and complexity of solutions, to plan and to commit deployment dates
  • to setup and to maintain hosting server landscape and to design back-end solutions for different systems connection and their effective interaction,
  • to communicate with other process stakeholders to understand the business side of the function and used tools and to advise technical aspect of proposed solutions,
  • to resolve user incidents and to provide IT support for existing tools and related server landscape

What you’ll bring/ Position Requirements:

  • 5 + years of knowledge and experiences with development of web based tools is required (PHP/ HTML/ MySQL),
  • experiences with server management and IT support is preferred,
  • responsible, communicative and analytical personality
  • common sense and pragmatical thinking
  • business modelling (UML) and user requirements understanding
  • fluent English
