Description and Requirements

This position need to catch up the industry new technology.

He/she needs to work with Linux upstream as well as leading IHV like Intel and OSV like Red Hat to build up innovative features for the next generation Data Center . 

1.As an Linux Kernel Engineer, debug on OS related issues, e.g. kernel panic, hang, etc.. Fix issue and push patch to Linux community.

2.Work with Linux distribution vendors to make sure Lenovo’s feature request and bug fix could be in the next release.

3.Work on kernel feature enhancement or new development, and upstream code.

4.Write technical white paper to promote Lenovo’s products.

5.Provide support to critical customer issues.

6.Lead on innovation, have patents.

We hope you:

1.The good candidate will have wide and deep knowledge of x86 architecture, Linux kernel, driver, firmware etc. (or one of areas) and have passion to do troubleshooting and kernel development.

2.At least 5 year or above working experience in Linux kernel
