Lenovo is seeking a highly motivated Global Accounts Sales Manager for our Retention strategic accounts across CAP. This leader will oversee a team of Local Account Managers and Global Account Managers who are responsible for developing and executing on aggressive customer retention while delivering on aggressive sales objectives.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in strategic selling to Large Enterprise or Global Accounts. S/he will be results oriented, and driven by excellence and will work well in a matrix environment with peers in sales, product development, marketing, services and supply chain. This leader should have command and be able to influence at all levels throughout the organization, externally with customers and potential partners by virtue of his/her industry expertise. S/he will have the capacity to guide and develop a comprehensive understanding of the industry and distill this understanding into simple, straightforward enterprise solutions that make a clear difference to the customer’s business.

The leader will possess a strong business acumen, sales intuition, and both a farmer and hunter mentality as required to grow their region’s business. The leader will possess solution selling skills across IDG, ISG & SSG. The strategic leader, alongside their account team, will build executive relationships within the accounts to ensure Lenovo is represented at the highest levels. Must have regional sales experience across South and East Asia (ASEAN & HTK)

Location preferred is Singapore or Hong Kong. Frequent travel of 70+ % is expected when normalcy retruns

Responsibilities include:

• Directly and indirectly manage other skilled sales professionals.

  • Developing, managing, and maintaining existing account relationships while delivering on aggressive sales objectives.

• Creating and executing the overall go to market strategy; providing thought leadership and managing relationships with key executives.

• Driving a culture of high performance with a strong focus on leadership development for direct reports.

• Using a structured and repeatable business process to enable accurate pipeline management via forecasting of SKUs and hence Complete responsibility of Profit and loss of aligned departments

• Working across matrixed organization in Region/Geo / WW.

Position Requirements:

  • Previous field (outbound) sales experience and inside sales experience preferred
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and team building skills
  • Strong communications skills and ability to communicate strategic direction, innovative thinking
  • Server, Services & PC industry experience
  • Curiosity about the changing technology industry
  • Ability to work proactively in a fast paced and matrixed work environment
  • Collaborative, broad cultural awareness across the CAP region
  • Travel to any or all customer sites when appropriate
