Description and Requirements

As a key leader in Global TA, the role of Sr. Manager, Global Talent Acquisition Operations, manages all areas of TA Operations from creating and leading strategic programs to setting the operational cadence for the team. We are a high performing, highly engaged, inclusive global team looking for a key team member to help us deliver world class TA support to drive Lenovo’s growth.  This position will report to the Executive Director of Global Talent Acquisition and will manage a global team of TA operations specialists. We offer flexible working conditions and the position can be hybrid, coming to one of our US based offices (Chicago or Raleigh) or remote.

We are looking for an analytical, multi-tasking, and motivated individual to manage, drive and develop effective strategies for improving processes, tools and programs.  You are a relationship builder with solid managerial experience, excellent organizational and project management skills, strong stakeholder and change management, and can meet deadlines and juggle multiple requests in a dynamic environment.  You will build a data driven TA strategy, looking for trends, removing bottlenecks and benchmarking external practices.  You are open to inputs, ideas, regional perspectives and experimenting in order to find the best solution.  You have a collaborative working style and can pull together diverse, matrixed teams to deliver results.

Your TA Operations team is responsible for a broad scope of work in supporting TA excellence: recruiter productivity and resource modeling, optimizing recruiting tools usage, efficiency, standardization, scale, global processes and programs to improve recruiting delivery, referrals, vendor strategy, onboarding, data analytics and reporting, TA training, ATS (Avature), and process management, and other programs and tools.

You will be a consultative advisor to our regional TA leaders, Recruiters, Sourcers, Coordinators and all Hiring teams on best practices. Broad experience working on a Talent Acquisition Operations team, managing TA Operations programs and resources in a global setting is required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support all TA operations and strategic programs with opportunities to identify and streamline work
  • Leveraging technology and process to achieve scale and speed in recruiting globally
  • Conduct ongoing operational reviews, process improvements, and process excellence across recruiting teams
  • Drive TA data integrity and consistency. Help drive team performance by the regular cadence of relevant recruitment metrics, recruiting reports that inform business decisions - identify, monitor and regularly report key metrics across all TA programs and operations - use data to analyze and optimize recruitment processes
  • Support initiatives for TA Ops including creating and maintain scalable processes, tools & systems necessary to support the recruiting function globally- work with functional leads on the team to support ATS improvements, adapt & integrate new TA tools. 
  • Be a self-starter and proactive in identifying issues, driving root cause analysis, taking initiative to create and implement solutions.
  • Map, document & partner with the TA team to train on TA processes, tools, systems that will improve quality of hires, reduce time in stage, increase pass-through rates, and increase the diversity of talent & objectivity in hiring
  • Identify new tools and technology to improve operations
  • Budget management and TA vendor management
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on HR systems, policies and guidelines interpretation and impact as systems, policies and procedures mature and change

Experience required:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Talent Acquisition / Recruiting Operations environment with in-depth knowledge of Recruiting compliance, tools, systems and processes.
  • Proven success in a global TA team environment
  • Experience as a leader, managing or supporting a wide range of TA operations programs and initiatives and driving for results.
  • Experience leading regional and global projects in a rapidly changing, transformational environment (program/project management).
  • Experience with change management and applying project management best practices
  • Ability to work effectively across the global talent acquisition team, HR teams (HR COEs, HRBPs, HRIS), and other functional teams to deliver cost-effective business results.
  • Ability to work with technical partners related to ATS integrations, TA vendor negotiations and management.
  • Great communication skills: presentations, reports, executive summaries, dashboards
