The position is a people management role who will responsible for water-cooled server product in-house mechanical development team management include both chassis and water cooled module development and delivery.The person is required to work cross site/function collaboration with cross 3 sites mechanical team for ISG GP product inhouse execution, mechanical development process continue improvement. Support the other function teams ( system team, I/O team, Thermal , etc.) mechanicla solution development and support.

Responsibilities 

  • Oversee hardware product development through the entire life cycle
  • Work with team on developing schedules, budgets, resource plans, critical deliverables, and other support requirements for assigned projects
  • Develop team technical skills as part of continual growth 
  • Development team members by defining expectations and providing timely and specific feedback
  • Identify mentorship opportunities and coordinate training and professional development for your team

Job Requirement 

  • 8+ years of industry experience (preferred with 6 yrs min) and 2+ years of management experience (preferred)
  • Direct experience with Mechanical design on server products 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language
  • Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, as well as negotiate options at senior management levels
  • Experience leading a team of engineers and acting as a technical contributor in design reviews and decisions 
  • Deep knowledge in one or more technical topics
  • Past experience with ODM or CM models of product development
