◇Job Description◇

Sr Marketing Manager – Infrastructure Solution Group [ISG], Lenovo Japan

■Location: Tokyo, Japan

■Reporting into: CMO, AP ISG, Lenovo and dotted line into GM, Lenovo ISG Japan

■ Job Summary

Develop and implement turn-key Campaigns & Programs to generate demand and build brand awareness for Lenovo ISG solutions Japan Market. In this role, you will be transforming Marketing into a profit center with clear KPIs defined for Japan. Being a strategic manager, you will be required to carry out planning and drive execution with your own teams, stakeholders, and extended resources.

■ Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute ISG Marketing plan and programs to drive awareness, demand generation, and channel enablement to establish Lenovo ISG as the most strategic partner for Enterprise.
  • Orchestrate annual and quarterly marketing planning aligning with Business strategic priorities with clear goals, roadmap, and milestones
  • Lead and implement campaigns thru Integrated Marketing Communication with a big focus on Lenovo ISG led / 3rd party/alliance events and 360 degrees digital etc.
  • Liaise and work closely with alliance partners on co-marketing and GTM development.
  • Develop & implement segment-based campaigns to promote ISG solution portfolio: Cloud, Edge & IOT, AI / HPC and As-a-Service.
  • Develop a C-level executive program to win the mindshare of key decision-makers of target key accounts
  • Establish strong database contacts to support C-level campaigns and account relationship building.  Support end-to-end lead management process by leveraging regional tools and infrastructure.
  • Provide Quarterly Guidance on:
  - Focused, consistent messaging and identity
  - GTM readiness aligned across product, channel, event, digital, social media, and PR/Media
  • Establish systematic cadence to provide updates and discuss key priorities with AP ISG Marketing, JP Business leaders, WW ISG Marketing, and AP Segment leaders.
  • Responsible for marketing automation (Marketo and Dynamics) for Database & lead management, tracking, and campaign effectiveness

  • Integrated and centralized process across all regionsCross leverage rest of AP ISG & WW ISG Marketing Best of breed
  • Marketing Investment management which includes vendor payout, proof of execution submission, and 100% brand compliance of all creatives.


  • Strong proven track record in driving and delivering world-class demand gen programs in B2B Technology Marketing.
  • Degree holder, preferably in marketing.
  •  10-15 years of working experience in Enterprise/B2B Technology marketing leading with in-depth knowledge of Cloud, SDI, HCI, Server, and Storage marketing
  • Regional experiences in APAC marketing with connection and network covering key technology players
  • Experience in managing Marketing Automation & CRM [ Marketo and Dynamics] & lead management systems is a must
  • Logical and analytical thinking coupled with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Sensitive and strong in figures, cautious and attentive to details
  • Fast learner; must be a taskmaster, ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace
  • The ability to perform independently, hands-on, and to work well in a team environment
  • Good Japanese, as well as English (written and oral) communication, is a must.
