Description and Requirements

Position Description:

1. Manages the Overall Procurement Process for New Product Introductions and transition.

2. Key Interface in keparts portfolio planning process and implement/coordinate into each product offering so as to ensure competitive technology/cost leading in industry

3. New products level cost and source management support

4. Represents Procurement in Offering Core Team and interlocks with the Commodity GCM Teams & ODM GCM Teams for sourcing recommendation.

5. Prepares Source Plans (Initial at Detailed Design Start, Final at Business Commit)

6. Represents Procurement at each NPI product launching Checkpoint Exits and Major Reviews. 

7.  Owns Supplier Chain Assessment Review (SCAR) GSC CheckPoint

8.  Work with the GCMs/NPI GPSM/IBP to ensure supply continuity on a WW basis to meet SVT/SOVP Ramp Requirements  9.    Drive single source minimization and complexity reduction activities

Position Requirements:

1. 3+ years of sourcing experience in cost/supply/NPI/EOL transition management etc. 

2. Familiar with Notebook industry and technologies

3. Strong presentation skills and communication skills in English/Chinese

4. Accountable for product launch success and able to measure/present progress regularly.

5. Basic to Advance Knowledge of supply chain and ODM/component supplier practices.

6.Understand design/development activity vs supplier support readiness

7. Result oriented, professional and be able to work independently with minimum supervision.

8. Prior work experience in a company with global team and operation
