What You’ll Do: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Manager for our Software Defined Infrastructure ThinkAgile VX portfolio. This individual is responsible for our ThinkAgile VX of products covering Hyperconverged and Cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will work on cross portfolio initiatives and drive strategic GTM plans with partners.

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll be responsible for the overall success and strategy of the ThinkAgile VX product vertical, ensuring delivery against product-specific strategies and goals.
  • Work with the senior leadership team and other key stakeholders to prioritize across a large and complex set of existing products and new opportunities to improve and expand the current product vertical, with overall product roadmap management.
  • Create strong business cases to select the best ideas/concepts before they become products/features.
  • Look beyond where the market is today, and ensure that the product vertical maintains a competitive advantage with a three-year vision.
  • Engage directly, where appropriate, with clients, vendors, and partners to support commercial efforts.
  • Maintain C-level stakeholder engagement and relationships both within ISG and at a Partner level.
  • Become an expert & thought leader in the industry and our target markets to help define our competitive product strategy.
  • Ensure the product function is appropriately organized and staffed to enable them to achieve the approved strategy and to deliver positive customer outcomes.
  • For your product vertical manage product metrics and dashboards including development expense, product performance in Revenue-Profit-Market share, customer satisfaction and ROI.
  • Own the P&L for your product vertical including the ownership of product GTM strategies.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of engagement.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of product management experience in the enterprise space
  • Thorough knowledge of key Market trends for software defined infrastructure - Hyperconverged and Cloud solutions
  • Ability to present to executives and key customers, SI’s, and at conferences and events
  • Good financial acumen and ability to drive business growth in a fast paced environment
  • Collaborative yet assertive to deliver in face of ambiguity
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills. Able to translate complex ideas into simple messaging for sellers 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of product management experience with converged / hyperconverged products.
  • Understanding of Storage, compute and network virtualization is preferred
  • Customer satisfaction mindset
  • Goal oriented, organized, self-motivated, creative, have a strong attention to detail, and have the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team with sales, R&D, finance and operations
