Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive hardware security and BIOS/Firmware requirements in support of the worldwide commercial portfolio.

The primary responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Define and drive solutions and  hardware requirements across the Commercial PC portfolio
  • Align with key stakeholders across functional areas including Geographies, marketing, cost, GSC, etc.
  • Serve as subject matter expert around Manageability, Security, BIOS and Product Diversity for Segment team and Geographies
  • Represent solutions approach in the Commercial Segment Business Management Systems (BMS)

A successful candidate will:

  • Engage with key industry partner to understand and align Lenovo’s hardware strategy
  • Meet with commercial customers to present Lenovo’s solutions and capture customer feedback
  • Understand competitive positioning and conduct routine competitive analysis
  • Work closely with product marketing, product operations, and product development
  • Individual must have the ability to handle day to day operations while focusing on the 2–3-year hardware feature strategy
  • Have familiarity with BIOS, Firmware, Drivers and Operating System Architecture

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to work in a cross functional environment across multiple time zones.

The ideal candidate must also have a very good technical background and ability to work with key technology partners.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management
  • CISSP Preferred
  • Familiarity with PC industry
