Sales operation is a business unit that supports the effectiveness and efficiency of Lenovo’s sales team. A key role is supporting the sales team by creating, evaluating, and optimizing data sets and sales applications.



These are your detailed responsibilities:

SALES OPERATIONS: POST SALES E2E MANAGEMENT

  • Weekly business and supply review with FF/GSC team (CN) - Engage with FF/GSC team on the status of shipments and align on all issues and assistance required.
  • Dashboard for Sales (OL Performance, Rep Performance, BIZ case tracker, etc) – decipher and publish territory relevant data from MEA reports as deemed necessary and agreed with relevant stakeholders.
  • Assistance requirement for shipment issues, including ETA, escalations, etc.
  • Rebill orders, sold the ship to creation, segmentation mismatch, MOT approval changes – input in the system and resolve end to end.
  • Inventory reporting management – relating to issues from Partners- PN mismatch, late load, and rewriting uploaded files.
  • IOW and BA management in territory.

CHANNEL OPERATIONS

  • Partner rebate management (PEP) – target setting, inputs from sales, validation, drive acceptance, adherence to payout timelines.
  • Manual programs – target setting, adherence to guidelines and approvals, audit compliance, validation, manual target letters issuance, payout calculation, and validation, and adherence to payout timelines.
  • Education and support for Channel support tools – LPH, LBP, OVP, etc – educate yourself on the functioning of the tools, and their implications on business and educate key stakeholders. Management of issues related to the relevant tools by liaising with MEA Ops/EMEA Ops team to facilitate smooth functioning and adherence by stakeholders.
  • Partner onboarding and contract management – end-to-end management (set up of ID’s, tool access, and onboarding induction). Contract validity and renewal.
  • Partner QBR – execution and tracking (full management of scheduling, review, and actions – content to be standardized and adhered to Company guidelines).
  • Issuance of PAF’s, MAF’s and certificates.

INCENTIVES AND COMMISSIONS

  • Validation and mapping of relevant PDT to sales teams.
  • Ensure accurate mapping of accounts/channel partners for SIP calculations as required.

Organization

You will report to Sales Operations Manager supporting customers in Lenovo South Africa. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings.


What you’ll bring/ Position Requirements:

  • Fundamental understanding of common Linux and Windows server applications.
  • 2+ years’ experience in sales operations or business operations required
  • Customer-focus as you will communicate with customers & internally every day
  • Proficiency in Excel (from intermediate up to advanced level )
  • Proficient with MS Office and sales CRM solutions (Salesforce.com).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and sales skills.
  • Use interactive tools including chat, forums, email, monitoring, and other web-based social media to exceed customer expectations.
  • Be part of a team, with best-in-breed execution quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B Enterprise business operations.
  • Experience with an ERP system (SAP / Oracle)
  • Degree in BA
