Description and Requirements

     Position Description:  

1.Develop and execute the product sourcing strategy for the assigned category/product line with ownership on the category performance in terms of total cost, quality and services.

2.Manage the sourcing and purchasing activities such as price, T&C negotiations and to ensure continuity of supply, reduce total costs and prepare for future sourcing challenges for the specific product line/category

3. Participate in all project milestone reviews and project conference calls related to sourcing/pricing/supplier management issues

4. Manage the supplier performance by using supplier score card and performance management tools. Lead the corrective action meeting with suppliers until rectification done

5 .Supplier risk management. Ensure governance and customer specific compliances in suppliers. Ensure no financial risk to hamper products quality or supply.

6.Analyses external market conditions such as commodity prices fluctuations, currency movements, demand and supply, and recommend actions to management

7.Prepare sourcing/market intelligence/supplier base management report, factory note and review with the upper manager on regular basis

8. Align and develop supplier technology / product roadmap to support company product development plan.

Position Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain/operations management.         

2. At least 5 years relevant working experience in buying office / trading /manufacturing industries with 3 years of supply management skill          

3. Familiar with electronic component industry, and supply chain               

4. Good command of Excel file tools and Familiar with PC, SAP or ERP, operations                 

5. Good team player, possess strong analytical skill with effective communications
